no, they are harmless. you do not want to kill anyone because it hurt a little but not much. spark a bit if you shoot in metal, but they not ignite. I had one when I was seven. you can get one at Walmart or Target or have the cheap in the shops of most dollar. also sold at CVS, Rite Aid, Walgreens, and most pharmacies.
